I use my camera for both hobby purposes and for some shooting in (one of) my jobs where I am a features editor of a B2B publication in the South African Automation & Control industry and also editor of a B2B publication in the South African Motion Control industry.

My kit comprises:

Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control

A Z Pro filter holder & filter set

I shoot Raw (but keep my clothes on) and use Nikon Capture NX 2 (It is teaching me to be patient) for processing.

My kit wish list includes:
A decent lightweight tripod and head
Some light modifiers (umbrella, snoot, reflectors, stand, etc) for my flash
Maybe a second Nikon CLS compatible flash unit
Macro lens
...
and a GPS unit with GPS track facility
- oh and a D700..

My software wish list?
Photomatix Pro
Maybe a an Adobe product like Lighroom
And a decent overall catalogger that will fit into an integrated workflow

My skills wish list includes:
Learn lots more about flash on the run for candid photography
Learn more about portrait photography
Learn how to hold my camera steady
Become more familiar with camera controls and best settings for different circumstances (subject, ambient light, movement, ...)
