In respect to photography, I'm strictly an amateur. I shoot mostly on digital, but I fire up a roll of film every now and then. Most of my photos are city-related, because my work prevents me from leaving weekends (either that or I'm too lazy to do it), although there are the odd nature shots from whenever I had the chance.

I use Pentax gear, a K10D (used to be a K100D) and a film ME, with (mostly) various prime lenses. I know close to nothing about flash photography, so it's usually just wide open for me (that's where the primes step in). Also, a lot of B&W because I can't handle the subtleties of color aesthetics ...yet.

Aside from the Pentaxes, I've also added a Nikon D300 to "the family". I feel it complements quite well the lineup, adding sheer speed and brute ISO force to the "delicacy" and quirkiness of the P's. I can't bring myself to prefer either of them.
