As Ken Rockwell said, the camera doesn't matter.

Being not a rich person I hope so ;-). Fortunately, in photography, good may rhyme with cheap.

I really like to experiment and definitively digital gives us a great way to do it. I have recently bought a second-hand Nikon D40: small, cheap and compatible with pratically any lens produced from 60's to now.

I recently discovered the old lenses world: I find really funny how an old cheap lenses can easily put on shame modern expensive ones. Since I bought my first no-metering lens, a Nikkor-Q 135 mm f/2.8 from 1961, I have learnt a lot about exposure/focus and camera. In Italy we love to say: "The need makes the brain quicker", and that's the case.

Here you can find a review I wrote for this wonderful lens, let me know what do you think :)
