I'm just getting started with this whole photography thing but I've been finding that taking pictures is a wonderful way to get to know your surroundings! Really helps you to look at the world through new angles and colors.
I just moved to D.C. without knowing many people...I'm originally from San Diego, Ca, so I'm out on a limb but what an adventure! :)
