I'm the "Amy" half of Jeff&Amy, and unlike the more experienced wildlife photographer in the family, I also take photos of random and mundane things (a category which includes myself).

I'm an amateur and untaught (probably pretty obvious!) But I have that democratic idea of art & photography. Everybody can participate. I love looking at pictures. Everything from Dorothea Lange to Mann Ray to your vacation photos.

I'm working on a 365 project in which I take a self portrait every day for a year. I've been at it for over 5 months now, and it's a challenge, trying to think of new and interesting ways to present the same subject.
