Born in Amsterdam, I came of age during the 60's. I have lived in the States since 1972, in Chicago since 1973, and joined the Chicago Police Department in 1986. I n January of 1997, I was injured during a high speed pursuit, which left me paralyzed.
I have been many places, seen and done many things, and photography has been my passion throughout. Now that I am legally blind, it is more important than ever.
