I am not a professional. I am not an artist. I am not really a good photographer either. I am a guy living a dream day by day.

I think the best photographers accomplish three things in their work:

1) They capture the scene, as is, in that moment.
2) They invoke an emotion.
3) They tell a story.

A quick look at my photo stream and you can tell that my photographs go through quite a large amount of post-processing. I am still trying to find the technique and digital manipulations/medium that work best for me. In that sense, my work does not accomplish #1. I hope that over time, my photos will get fewer digital enhancements and I will feel comfortable uploading them straight out of the camera.

I am progressing in conveying a sense of emotion in some of my photos. But still, overall the emotion is not captured.

My photos do not tell a story. And only recently have I thought more about how to get them to tell the story.

My Flickr account will primarily serve as a catalog of my work. I hope that I can look at my photo-stream several years from now and be proud of the progress that I have made.
