I started my journey in photography since I was 14. My first camera was a Sony DSC-T50 and in early 2010, my dad bought me a Nikon D90 in which it's my first DSLR I've ever had :) I've been using it since then and I admit myself that I improved a whole lot. Well not to say that I'm really really really good at photography but by meaning, I improved a lot for a beginner :)
Flickr helped me a lot. This website inspired me from time to time to take breathtaking pictures and not just about the photography, but I made with a few friends in this website too even if we're strangers. To me, flickr is like a place for photographers to gather around with their family so that they could share or show off their stuffs in here :)
