American Faust is a hard-hitting documentary about Condoleezza Rice. Incisive and shocking, the film overturns the popular misconception of Rice as a yes-woman to President Bush to reveal her as his most enduring confidante – and thus responsible for much of the Bush legacy. The film follows her step-by-step quest for power, culminating in the ultimate move that put her in the position to order and approve some of the most horrific torture techniques used by the CIA. Legendary guitarist Gary Lucas provided original music for film’s haunting score.
