I'm an amateur photographer who would love to have the time to learn more about taking great pictures and is working on it. I love exploring Flickr and finding amazing works that I can only dream of reproducing and hopefully I will!

In the meantime I use Flickr to post some of our family pics which I like the most, some taken by me and some taken by my wife ... we recently bought a Nikon D80 and are enjoying playing with the basic functions and being blown away by the quality and flexibility this camera brings to documenting our every day life and travels.

If you're curious, kibogoyo is a Swahili word and one of my favourite words from when I was a kid growing up in Tanzania and Kenya. It means a number of things, from 'toothless' (which we used in the family for a friendly insult) to 'humourist' or 'funny man'. I do have teeth and I'm not funny, but I like the word anyway.
