I'm an art student and cashier at Michaels arts and crafts. Mainly I like to draw and paint, I always liked to take pictures but never considered it art until recently, now that I'm taking a photo class, its all b&w film. I love to take pictures in cities. I love the city. Especially New York. I grew up an a hour and a half away, so I used to go a lot, which is probably why it inspires me. I have a lot of photos I havent put up yet because they need to be edited (they were taken with my Canon Powershot) The black and white film ones need hardly any editing. But now, I FINALLY got a decent quality digital camera, a Nikon D40 which is good enough for me. I'm happy about that. I also like making my own prints, I just don't like trying to please my teacher, because what I think looks cool is not necessarily "technically perfect" but, Its fun and frustrating at the same time.
