Altogether Lovely/Amber Bishop's photostream  

I didn't find photography. Photography found me. After several years of building a fast paced, unfulfilling business, I quit. I chose to stay home, and homeschool our three children and learn what it means to be still and stop striving.

I started to find myself again. I started to remember how much I loved to paint and create, sing and tell stories. I started having friends and acquaintances comment on how much they liked my photography. The more people asked me to do their family pictures, the more I started to pay attention.

It's as if I stepped into a stream that has always been here for me, just waiting for me to jump in. Now I am calm, home with our children, and creating beautiful art every day of the week...and I am happy and content beyond words.
