I'm a shutterbug obsessed with nature and landscapes. I love candid portraits although I'm hardly successful at capturing them. I consider myself a chowhound, thus I often take picture of food, though my captures don't often do the dish justice.

I finally have a dSLR (Nikon D40x), and I'm putting it through its paces during the holiday season. Come spring, my photostream will be filled with wildflowers! For now, I hope to improve my food shots.

Up until late March 2006 I used a very capable Nikon Coolpix 3100. I still carry a Coolpix P2, which suits my shoot-on-a-whim tendencies.
