Meet us.



We are, Levi Roberts [most commonly referred to as "The Boy" or possibly "Levi Chell" or possibly "Stud" or "Sexxxxayyyy" on a good day] and Amalie Gillespie [sometimes referred to as "the girl" or just simply "girl" but usually you can count on me being the "I" in the story]. To really get to know us you should head over to the blog, but since you probably don't have that kind of time [since my motto seems to be "to make a short story long..."] let me try to sum up.

Girl works at boy's favorite restaurant years ago [we're talkin' like, at least four] and every time he comes in they flirt. Just a little. Eventually, boy figures out a [semi]smooth way to give girl his number, and they start chatting. A lot. Boy starts spending lots of money on food, and girl starts spending lots of time still at work after her shifts. They get pretty close, but girl is distracted, and boy is distracted, and nothing really happens. They stop talking. Later, boy checks in on girls blog. She's feeling rather pathetic at the moment so he emails her to make sure she's okay. They email a lot. Unfortunately, now they live in different states. They're sad. But wait. Boy is genius. He get's a crazy idea and takes a risk. Boy asks girl to go on "The Ultimate Road Trip" with him. He wants to pick her up from Utah, and drive all the way to Seattle, stay for a week, and drive all the way back. Girl falls off her chair when she gets his email, then jumps up and does several happy dances. She says yes. They start a countdown, and on day zero, sure enough, boy pulls up outside her house in a HUGE black truck. They spend a magical week in Seattle and at the end of the week, they're hooked. They spend three stupid days apart and that's enough for them. Girl flies to Arizona to be with boy. And the rest, well, you can probably guess.

Our blog focuses on appreciating the little, every day things that make up loving someone. It's about defeating the odds. There are stories, there's the occasional flaunting of an excellent outfit [because girl thinks boy is the bomb diggidy-est dresser around], there may occasionally even be a recipe we enjoyed. But more than anything, Our blog is a constant reminder that there is enough love in the world to go around.

Our Flickr account, THIS flickr account, goes along with that blog. We love photography. It's the girls passion and a great hobby for the boy [who has a ridiculously impressive natural eye for it, says the girl]. Pictures tell stories, and who doesn't love a good story? The 26 Percent Flickr account is just a little glimpse into the life of two people who still believe in love.
