I am a twenty-sevenyear old hobby photographer who rarely goes anywhere without a camera (if I can help it). I love to browse Flickr for pictures taken by photographers who use the same equipment as I do because it's a great joy to be able to expand my knowledge base whilst marveling at the infinite creativity of others.


I've been on Flickr since August of 2005, however, the account went largely abandoned until I bought my Kodak P880 in August of 2006. I upgraded to a Nikon D80 in March of 2007, and now that I have my very own dSLR (and the debt to go with it!), I intend to use my Flickr account for more than merely a place to host images; I want to get involved in Flickr groups and hopefully receive some comments and constructive criticism from the seasoned pros so that my pictures will evolve from snapshots that are creatively tantamount to vanilla ice cream, to creative images to be proud of.



Tools of my trade:

Cameras: Nikon D80 and Kodak P880.

Lenses: Nikkor 50mm 1.8D AF as a primary lens and Nikkor 18-135mm if the need arises.

As of April 25, 2007, the newest goodies in my camera bag are the Nikon Speedlight SB-600, a Sto-Fen omnibounce, and a Lightsphere.

The earliest photographs on this account were taken with the god-awful Concord EYEQ3042 (3.1 megapixel).
