A friend asked me recently what Flickr was for me. Good question. I guess it is mainly a repository for the moments of my life that I would like to share with the people who were with me. Sometimes the situations find an echo with people I don't know; they comment about it, and a connection is created. The artistic "value" of my pictures is not really a priority to me, neither are pictures of babies or freakin' kittens...



Gears: I've used a Canon Powershot SD870IS for about two years; what a fun little camera! I had always been tempted by a DSLR, something "real", and had the opportunity to borrow a Canon Rebel XTi for two weeks in November 08. It was hard to get back from there, so here we go, I'm now shooting with a delicious Canon 5D Mark II. From December 08 on, this photostream will include a mix of pics of the 5D shots, and of probably many of the thousands of photos I took with the Powershot that I never had time to put online...
