His colour shots can be so vibrant and his black and white images have depth and often exploit the complete tonal range. That is not strictly true as there is something that you can be sure awaits you, a perfectly composed image. From what I can see all the images in Nathan’s thread are carefully and thoughtfully composed. I cannot say whether he spends a lot of time framing and cropping or whether this is a natural instinct that manifests itself through the lens, but either way it is an art that he has mastered and this is one of the reasons it is such a joy to sample the delights on offer.

Nathan was one of the very first people with whom I had any contact here within Flickr’s walls and he is certainly one of those that I am really glad to have “met”.
