I live in Iowa. Love to travel. I have always liked taking pictures. Lately I have been having fun taking pictures mainly of my kids, but want to expand into more artistic subjects. If you view my photo stream you will see a variety of shots, some general shots conveying things I have done or seen, others of the more artistic general. At times I will also post pictures that my children have taken. I love some of their shots and how they see the world.

I grew up in northern Michigan so I love been on the water, aviation and nature. My photographs so far have been around those subjects. I like nature photography, the challenges of capturing animals in action, sunrise and sunsets and scenery.

I have been playing around more with Macro work and dabbling in HDR. I have been having lots of fun with the macro set up, I have a Kenko extention tube set that I have been mainly mating with my 50mm 1.4 lens. It has been a blast playing with. The HDR stuff is being somewhat frustrating. I need to spend more time figuring out how to get what I am looking for. I am not interested in the over done look, just to be able to pull in more detail across a picture with a variety of light levels.









I've had a couple people ask me about my flickr name. It is my initials and the tail number of the plane my dad had when I was growing up.. which is sadly no longer in the family.
