My interest in photography started around 2007, but I never really done much until 2009. I started self teaching myself about my camera (at that time the Canon Powershot SX10) and learning more and more. In early 2010, I decided to start photographing more subjects. Up until then it was mostly trains and depots. I read online photography sites and then started taking pictures of everything! In February 2011, I got my first dSLR. The Canon EOS Rebel XS. One of my goals was to have a picture published before I graduated high school. And that happened in the June 2011 issue of Trains magazine.
