I'm an out gay guy living on Long Island, about 60 miles east of New York City.
I'm interested in making new friends, and hopefullly some day finding the right person to be my special friend and lover. I'm not into one-night stands or "hook ups" as they seem to be called on AOL!
By day I work for a large gas and electric company as an emergency preparedness engineer (whatever that is!).
By night, I'm photographer for a monthly magazine that cover the gay night clubs on Long Island and in NY City. The magazine is PM Entertainment. The club I like most in NY City is called The Web. One of my main reasons for setting up this Flickr page is to the photos I've taken with the friends I've made at these places. It's so much simpler than trying to e-mail them!!

The camera I'm using now is a Nikon D70; I switch back and forth between the lens it came with, a Nikkor 18-70, and a Sigma DC 18-200. My one big complaint about the camera is the mode dial (on the top left side of the camera) does not lock into position and has a tendency to rotate when anything brushes against it.
My other big interest besides photography include sailing and guys. On the sailing, I have a 27 foot boat, a model called an O'Day 272LE. On the guys, I currently don't have one :-(
NOTE: In June of 2008 my account was restricted by Flickr, meaning at that point everything I uploaded was given a Flickr rating of "Unsafe." I was never given any information regarding what specific photos were deemed to be inappropriate.
In order to get the restriction lifted, I deleted a large number of photos and set others to be "restricted" even though the photos were all taken in places that are either public or considered public accommodations (bars & night clubs). There was no nudity nor any thing that would cause a lifted eyebrow with an average New Yorker.
