One trip to Asia and a month of recovering from jetlag later, I emerged not only refreshed and with my inner clock back in check, but with a flickr account as well with over a 1000 pictures uploaded within the first 24 hours of joining (as well as both a twitter and yelp account, but let's not get into that... :P).

My main passion is black and white film photography. Ever since I inherited my father's vintage Minolta SR-T Super, I've been shooting non-stop with it and spending countless hours in the darkroom. The camera may be bulky, and weigh like, 10-15 pounds, and there might be a little mold in the lens from sitting in a tool shed for years, but I STILL LOVE IT, as has every photography teacher I've ever had. I also love shooting from the hip with my mother's 80's-tastic automatic Nikon.

In more recent years, I've branched out to digital photography with my trusty little point and shoot Canon S500, and now my Canon SD750 and Canon SD1100, which has taken the bulk of the pictures in my flickr. I hope to add a Canon Rebel XT to my camera family soon.

As a recent college graduate, I plan on traveling tons with my new found [temporary] freedom before I start grad school, so look out, world! I love my friends, traveling, sightseeing, and eating, and when you combine those together, it gets even better! :) So here I am, documenting all my [mis]adventures through photographs.
