"Almond is one of my very favourite people on flickr And in real life. He has a real love for photography but more than that he has a real love for life. He has crammed more into his few years than I have in my entire life. I look very forward to watching him go forth and conquer the world. And showing me that world in both word and picture.
I love that he has named all his cameras and that he recognizes that their spirits are inherently female. The names speak of other times. He embraces the past and the future at once. He is a great photographer. I love his style. I love his enthusiasm. I love his patriotism.
