  "What's amazing about Rod...well first off, he took time to respond to my email saying how amazing the Red Smile was. :P He's really humble, just a very nice guy. It's too bad I live in the States, and am a college student or I'd be trying to find a way to become his aprprentice, maybe if he's reading this he'll give me some challenges or something. ;). It's just always interesting to see how he makes fun of the absurdities of life while at the same time giving a sense of almost being ashamed of what we are capable of (my interpretation of it, please save the hate mail for when I actually say something wrong.) He's definately inspired me ot take pictures (again...let's not start an arguement) of people I meet just in their everyday life. He also helped me to understand how you can do pictures that trap your attention and stick with you for a long time. I really am glad that I saw his work, it definately has helped me see why photogrpahy is now considered and art."
