I love being outdoors and I appreciate nature. When I am out in nature, I am the most happy.

I live on Long Island in New York. So many people have heard of Long Island and may have an inaccurate idea of what it is like. It is very much like other suburban areas of the USA and being close to New York City, it has an added diversity that is wonderful.

I live near the water and enjoy boating. I appreciate all that is available to me. I am able to go where many Long Islanders cannot. The Fire Island National Seashore is limited to access by private boat or ferry. It's nature without the crowds and not far from where I live.

I hope that by seeing my photos, you get an idea of what Long Island is like. I also post photos of my vacations and trips into "the city"...New York City.

I am currently using the Nikon D300 and have had the Nikon D200, since June 2006.
