FLICKR RIVER MOST INTERESTING

My name is Al and I'm a 56-year-old living with my wife in a log cabin. A graduate of the University of Florida, I was a journalist for a Florida daily newspaper for many years, but moved to Information Technology as a Unix specialist late in my career, after helping the newspaper get online. After a liver transplant in 1999 I've learned to appreciate even the smallest things in life. A near-death spiritual experience will do that for you. I am now disabled and living in Tennesee. Thus my Nom De Plume -- Tennessee_Gator. After years out of photography I got back in using the system I left with -- Olympus. Now I'm using a EVOLT E-410 and an E-510 with 4 lenses (Zuicko 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ, Zuicko 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 EZ Zoom, Zuicko 70-300 4-5.6 and Zuicko 35mm Macro).

If you favorite any of my photos and don't have a profile filled out, I will block you. If you comment or favorite any of my photos and don't have any photos on flickr and don't have a profile, I will block you.

So it's like this: You can have no photos but a profile and that's OK, but you can't have NO PHOTOS and NO PROFILE. That's for me anyway.

I started doing this when I noticed some favoriting photos of my grandchildren and I couldn't discover who they were, since they lacked everything. THEY WERE BLOCKED.

I now do it with all my photos. I read every comment and check every favorite.
