alfred ng (photos and paintings)'s photostream  

I am a full time painter live in Toronto. For many years I worked as carpet designer, even I been taking photos since I was in art college but I never considered myself as a photographer until recently. I paint mainly in watercolour, sometime I used my camera as my sketch book to capture things I like to paint later on. I use a Nikon Coolpix and a Canon Power Shot A 710 IS.,

I joined Flickr in July 2005, mainly used to post my latest paintings to share with my friends. Somehow I was addicted to all the wonderful photos by every one else! Now I post my photos daily because there such endless images which fascinated me: my subjects are architecture, flower, nature, life, garden, travel, weather and life in Toronto. I go everywhere with at least one of my camera because some of my best shots were just being there at right moment. Some days I was surprised how many of you were looking at my photos, my last count was 21,000!
