"Andre reminds me of Edward Hopper. Hopper painted the small everyday things in his life and made them beautiful. Instead of painting landscapes, he painted windows and doorknobs. Andre takes pictures of the little everyday details and reminds me of things that I forget are there. If I didn't look at his pictures, I would not see the things that are in front of my face."
