Alex Thomas is a British photographer and multimedia journalist based between Beijing and London. Having begun a career in architecture Alex turned to documentary photography following humanitarian work in South America.
Alex honed his skills through NGO funded trips to East Africa, Europe and South East Asia, documenting various projects including the illegal wildlife trade in Eastern Africa.
More recently Alex completed an MA in Multimedia Journalism at the Dalian Institute of Image Art, China, where Alex has developed a strong passion for investigative documentary and long form multimedia productions.
Represented by Zuma Press in L.A, Alex continues to work as a freelance photographer and multi media journalist for publications worldwide. Recent clients include, Save the Children and The British Council.
