    whacker says:

"When Alex first got a camera, I thought "Oh no, he's really gone and done it this time". I remember when we bought him a fire extinguisher for his birthday one year, and trust me, we had to hit about 5 ATMs before we had enough to bail him (and the woman who picked him up hitchhiking) out of jail.

With a camera, I felt he would be even more dangerous, so most of us went out and bought protective suits and goggles.

Luckily, and miraculously, the camera transformed Alex into a new person, you could perhaps say a "Super Alex". Suddenly he could cook, his poems started to make sense, and best of all he stopped wearing checkered shirts with plaid pants.

Therefore, it is with great pleasure that I am able to truthfully say in this testimonial, without any feelings of trepidation, or worrying about my own reputation, that I know who Alex is, and have seen him walk to the cafeteria with other people, demonstrating that, well, at least other people don't scatter and hide when the camera comes out. Of course, if bridges and clouds could talk, I don't know where that would leave us.

In conclusion, this is my testimonial, for Alex. He is a dude, with a camera, and at least a few pairs of pants, plus if I start a band I am considering giving him a shot at the hammered dulcimer part to the middle section of one of the slower songs."
