Hi there, welcome to my profile. My name's Alex.

I'm a 3rd generation amateur photographer. I've been taking photos on and off since I was about 8. When digital came around, I decided to take it up again and haven't stopped since. I started in 2001 with a Sony Cybershot DSC-S50, then a Canon EOS 40D.
I'm now shooting with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II.

I discovered Flickr a couple years back and decided it was the best way to share my photography with my friends and family. As with anything, I will never presume to be the best, on the contrary, I'm always looking for feedback and ways to improve my photography skills.

Nowadays, I can't seem to get enough photography. I'm constantly looking for place / people / things to capture!
