I am a 35 year old male, and i'm a serious graphic designer/AD.
I'm playing with those toys, bought in this order :
— Nikon P5000 [updated: stolen in Chang Mai, Thailand ! It was horrible to use but the photo was good]
— Pentax K10d + kit lens + two M42 lens (Zeiss 35/Takumar 50) +and old tele from Tamron… (i feel less inclined to use it now, i'm more into film, and i think its a good camera but somewhat noisy)
— Yashica Electro 35 [ebay thing, stuck to 1/500e, hum… but the camera is terrific]
— Contax T2 [ebay too but mint… like it even if can't really manual focus]
— Olympus XZ-1 (my wife's new cam)
