Taking pictures is fun.

Born in 1971, Belgium, I was intrigued by photography since my childhood. As a child I owned a Kodak Disc Film camera. My father was interested in photography himself, and had some books about the subject on the bookshelf. Love, study, and my first job got in the way of this hobby in my late teens, and twenties.
I regained interest in photography when we switched from disposable film cameras to our first, and only, digital point-and-shoot, back in 2001. My first DSLR, bought second handed, in 2009, opened up a new world full of creativity.
Being more involved into photography for only two years, it's not really clear yet what direction it's taking me, but it seems my preferred subjects include long-exposure night photography, abstracts, and studio portraiture.

Scripting

I'm the current developer of the UNIFIED CheckPlay script used in more than 50 challenge groups, and of the corresponding Admin tool.

I also created the New Flickr Post Notification, a script that notifies you when new posts are posted in your favorite discussion groups, individual discussion threads, or photo pages; FlickMail style.
