When in England I dust off my change ringing skills. I've been exploring Flickr and found a few photos of places I know but haven't snapped . . . and steam railway engines! When I was very little I would sit with a one-armed level-crossing keeper, Mr Raynor, to listen for the bells and watch the semaphore signals that gave the road to one of the new Britannias thundering up the slight incline between Witham and Kelvedon heading a passenger express bound for Norwich.
