"Alan tiene amigos flickeros en todas partes del mundo, también en un pueblo tan pequeño como el mío, por eso quiero escribirle este testimonio:
Alanen argazkiak bost axola zaizkit. Benetan nire kontaktua da ezagutzen dudan estatubatuar bakarra delako eta imaginatzen dut hain herri "txikian" ia biztanle guztiak ezagunak izango direla eta agian Brad Pitt aurkeztuko dit.
Ez, benetan Alanen lanak gustatzen zaizkit bereziki bere HDR batzuk eta uste dut bere lanaren aniztasunak bere benetako pertsonalitatea isladatzen duela."21st January, 2008

silviothemilvio says:
"Alan Jordan has one of the most unusual and distorded face on the planet. One day while we were having a grimace contest at my place with a few other friends, Alan came over to surpsise us and instead of presenting himself at the door he stayed outside and smooshed his face against my beautiful rose window. We heard a growl and when we turned around to look, we saw the most repusilve thing staring at us.
That was, in fact, a marvellous grimace which was beaming at that moment through the aperture in the rose window. After all the pentagonal, hexagonal, and whimsical faces, which had succeeded each other at that hole without realizing the ideal of the grotesque which our imaginations, excited by the orgy, had constructed, nothing less was needed to win our suffrages than the sublime grimace which had just dazzled the assembly. Master Why Not Studios himself applauded, and WillieNQN, who had been among the competitors (and God knows what intensity of ugliness his visage could attain), confessed himself conquered: I will do the same. I shall not try to give the Flickr users an idea of that tetrahedral nose, that horseshoe mouth; that little left eye obstructed with a red, bushy, bristling eyebrow, while the right eye disappeared entirely beneath an enormous wart; of those teeth in disarray, broken here and there, like the embattled parapet of a fortress; of that callous lip, upon which one of these teeth encroached, like the tusk of an elephant; of that forked chin; and above all, of the expression spread over the whole; of that mixture of malice, amazement, and sadness. Let the Flickr users dream of this whole, if he can!
Look inside, see for yourself! But you can't say I didn't warn you!"28th April, 2006

LouisCypher says:
"Some think Alan as a modern day Oscar Wilde, some think he's a modern day Scarlet Pimpernel. Others think he's ex CIA/FBI, others think he's on the run from them. Many think he's completely crazy, a few think he's sane, but pretends to be crazy. I think he's all the above except maybe the Scarlet Pimpernel, he's not a dashing English aristocrat who risks his life to enter France and save innocents from the guillotine (but maybe in a previous life :). It's a pleasure to know him, as long as he's not on the run from the CIA/FBI then I don't know him, never heard of him, and don't wish too."

Jumpin'Jack says:
"Alan is the first person here in Flickr that I didn't get to know and appreciate because of some picture in one group or another, neither because of some comments to my pics.
Instead I had read his comments to other people first and was very impressed by them. And some comments that actually made me write this testimonial, weren't about a photo at all. It was about much tougher questions about art and people involved in it and about it.
To make a long story short, I haven't heard such well ballanced or objective (if such thing as objectivity actually exists in real life) arguments in a very long time. I wish I knew more people with so much objectivity -- hell, I wish I would have the strength to be always like that myself... :-)
Oh, and one more thing: I love his De-motivators pics. :-)"27th March, 2006

"Alan, his stories and pictures bring magic back into my life again...and I remember what it was like to be a child......If I could reach up and hold a star for every time his stories have made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand."
