Who is AktiefBeeld?

First my real name is Theo van Vliet. I'm highly interested in aviation, cars, ships and buildings. If possible old, rusty and abandoned.
Other targets are landscape and travel photography.
Last but not least: all kind of sports. I'm specialized in Running but it's my goal to capture all kind of sports once.

I don't like to flash (but sometimes you have...)

Starting with the F70, F100, D100 and D200, now I'm capturing with a D300 and soon the D700 will follow.
But camera's are replaceble: lenses not. I mean to say: if they are good they will always be good. Don't doubt, if you have the money, buy the best (fixed apertures, i.e. f2.8).

My workhorses are:
Nikon 17-55mm f2.8
Nikon 24-70mm f2.8
Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VRII

Other equipment:
Nikon 50mm f1.4
Tokina 12-24mm f4.0
Nikon 300mm f2.8
Nikon SB800 flash unit

And when I'm lucky I can use a Canon 1D mark4 mounted with a 600mm f4.0 (!!!) from a good friend.
