We are two young jewellers from Lithuania, Vilnius. Ausra Bankauskaite and Mante Maskoliunaite. We work together for three years now under "aka jewellery" name, which means - also known as jewellery.
This name didn't come from nowhere. We will try to explain a situation a bit.. We make conceptual jewellery, which is not always understood in our country. Sometime people are not used to see something different, thats why our works are subscribed as a design, not a jewellery peaces.

We finished Jewellery design and Smithery (Division of Aplied art. Vilnius Art Academy, Lithuania). Threw the years of study, our works participated in different group exhibitions:“Games”- jewellery exhibition of Vilnius art academy students. “Kauno vartai” gallery. Kaunas. Lithuania “Explosion” – conceptual art exhibition of Vilnius art academy students. “City exhibition hall”. “Meno kubas” – exhibition of Vilnius art academy, Telsiai department 10 year anniversary. Also got some experience from the work as a jewellers for jewellery designers in Vinius and New York. After study, we chosen maybe not the easiest way, but the one that we have always dreamed of. To work as independent designers. And made our debut exhibition combining silver and amber, it was called "White crow".
