Aid for Women is a not-for-profit organization established in 1978 to empower individuals to make choices consistent with the dignity of the human person and the family. We are the only life-affirming pregnancy center in Chicago's downtown Loop and the only Chicago area pregnancy center listed in the Official Catholic (Kenedy) Directory. We also have a second pregnancy center in Berwyn and a residential home in Des Plaines.

Founded on the faith and teachings of the Catholic Church, we give each client unconditional compassion while we discuss the development of her baby, abortion procedures and their risks, adoption possibilities, the benefits of abstinence until marriage, and a range of women's health issues. Our message - of positive alternatives to abortion, the dignity and value of chastity, and the noble and sacred role of motherhood - is communicated to an ethnically diverse population of women drawn from all sections of Chicago Metropolitan area.
