Ah Ken’s Weekly is an e-newsletter that brings you my passion for cooking. As my friends, you all know that my interests range across many different things – from fine art to graphic design to interiors. I love to try my hand at everything! From the day that I left Taiwan for Hong Kong, I have experienced a lot of novelty – rich and diverse cuisines; people from all sorts of backgrounds and lifestyles; international points of view. My personal growth has been incredible. The idea for Ah Ken’s Weekly came to me quite some time ago. But it’s taken me a while to get this first issue ready. My friends are definitely wondering “What is James up to? Wasting time, as usual!” Well guys, it’s not that I’ve been lazy, I’ve just not known how to put pen to paper and get started . . . you know how bad my written Chinese is! So, please have some patience with me. Old friends and new cooking fans, welcome to a journey of discovery with Ah Ken’s Weekly. Through the surprising combination of ingredients to the inspired use of unexpected cooking methods, let me show you why cooking is my all-encompassing passion.
Ahken’s Weekly是一份《電子報》的方式來傳達我煮食上的心得,認識我的人都應該知道我喜歡搞東搞西,不管是美術設計或是家居擺設,我都會攪和一點兒!自從離開台灣來到香江,我嘗試了許多事情,不管是豐富的菜色,遇上多樣化的人種及更寬廣國際觀,增加了更多人生體驗。打從我有電子報的構想開始直到現在,身旁的朋友一定在想,james怎麼搞的,又在拖了!嗨!!朋友們,我不是在拖只是不知該如何下筆,尤其國文程度不算好的我,請各位好朋友們有點耐心嘍。煮食是我所喜愛的,尤其是混用食材,總會有意想不到的驚喜,往後我的老朋友及新煮客,請在我的電子報裏-嘗試新的發現之旅。
