Photography has been a hobby for me for the past few years on and off. I've never taken any classes, and use a Canon PowerShot SD200, which has always made basic shots easy to take, but I am starting to feel the need for something more flexible.

(old view)I pride myself on not altering my shots at all, unless stated otherwise. I know the shots could be better with some cleanup, but I like leaving the flaws in as a reminder to myself that nothing is perfect. (/old view)

Let's face it, half of photography (old school) is making the print in the dark room, where you get to alter exposure, contrast, etc, so what's the harm in a little Photoshopping to bring out the colors? :)
