Improving our understanding of what it means to be human.

Welcome to the Photostream of The Center for the History of Psychology (CHP).

CHP began as the Archives of the History of American Psychology (AHAP) and was founded at the University of Akron in 1965 by Drs. John Popplestone and Marion White McPherson. AHAP remains a part of the center and is the world's largest repository for psychological materials, laboratory and classroom apparatus, electronic and photographic recordings, correspondence and data from the history of psychology.
