I was born in Rome and I have lived here almost all my life. In 2005 I obtained my chemistry degree and I have been working as associate researcher in a multinational biotech company since the end of the same year.

I had my first contact with photography in 1990 when my father gave me as a present his analogic Yashica, with several lenses and strange tubes. Unknown objects for me at that time. I took a lots of images with that camera, some nice images and a plenty of interesting mistakes. In the subsequents years I continued to enjoy photography using compact cameras from Nikon. At that time a DSLR was only a dream and was something linked only to the professional world of photography. Now it's another story.
Last year, also thanks to some of my best friends, very good photographers, I started again to comunicate with pictures. A digital reflex from Canon was my choice or to be honest was an old dream that became reality.

Photography for me it's a beautiful hobby. The hobby to comunicate with the use of the light.

Thanks to everybody

"I had the pleasure to observe and witness the "evolution" of David's photos that arrived here on Flickr right from the beginning. It was a tremendous development in terms of quality and creativity over a relatively short period of time.

It is true, we are hobby photographers, no professionals, but, similarly to the working environment, when you do something with passion and dedications, there is a professional result, one of high quality, and that is what makes the difference.

Keep up the good work! ... I wish I had more time ;-)"
