I am an artist and a writer. I have been shooting pictures at a steady pace for over 2 decades. Photography is the single longest creative endeavor I have been involved with. My art stems from photography and my writing tends to be very visual in nature. If photos can have an influence on words then they have done so to mine.

I love the freedom digital photography has given to the medium. The ability to shoot without the worry of spending money on processing is a dream come true for me.

I shoot with a leica M9 and a Canon 5D Mark II. I also use various point and shoot cams, some film cams and my iPhone.

Flickr is one of my favorite sites on the web. I archive on here most everything I shoot, which is typically snap shots. Occasionally there are a few gems.

I see so much beautiful work every day by so many people. It keeps me constantly inspired.
