A couple of months later ....
I'm extremely impressed by the standard on Flickr, I have been encouraged and grateful of all the comments - learn't by them and of comments on others too!
I am now looking at where I want to go with my photography - indeed I look forward to having more time to do it. And thank you to all my contacts who have given me inspiration. Alan
