Hi,

Thanks for visiting my page. I took to photography as a serious hobby after being gifted a fantastic prosumer camera (Canon S3IS ) by my brother and sister-in-law. (Subsequently, I've been gifted my very first DSLR - thoroughly spoilt by my family!)

You will find lots of photographs of Orissa, India here and that's because I belong to the fascinating State of Orissa. As you may notice, I am more inspired by nature than other subjects, but flickr has made me appreciate the amazing variety of subjects and scope for creativity that photography offers.

An engineer-economist by education, I currently work with Ashoka: Innovators for the Public and am based in Delhi.
