Just getting in to photography, I've always been complimented on my holiday snaps etc so a few years ago bought a digital SLR (Canon 40D) which came with the EFs 17-85mm IS lens.
I added a Canon 75-300mm IS pretty quickly and as I have a lot of friends who are professional I have been able to borrow some nice twinkly gear. I thank them for their help, advice and encouragement.

I took the plunge and added the Canon EFs 10-22mm, Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 OS, the Canon 50mm f/1.4 and Canon 24mm f/2.8 and I have to say I am really pleased with them.

I am now thinking of upgrading the body to a 5D mkII and replacing the EFs 10--22mm and EFs 17-85mm with the EF 16-35mm f/2.8 and EF 24-70 f/2.8 respectively however this then makes it a very expensive hobby.

I'd love to sell a few of my images to help pay for the upgrades and take a course or 2 to hopefully improve my skills and move from hobby to career, however I suppose that's the passion and dream of everyone on here whether the have the latest Nikon or Canon DSLR's or a camera phone.

The moments may pass but the memories can live on forever..
