Hi, my name is Adam Huras.

I am currently the provincial reporter in the Moncton bureau of the Telegraph-Journal, New Brunswick’s daily newspaper. Previously I was a staff sports writer, rewrite desk staffer, and an online editor at the National Post. And previous to that I was the managing editor of the Ryersonian, photo editor at the Eyeopener and sports editor and general assignment reporter at the Independent Newspaper.

I originally joined this site with the thinking that the Independent, a 20,000 circulation weekly based in Brighton, Ontario, should have editorial representation on Flickr to complete the link between us and our close relationship with the community. Thank you to anyone visiting this website via the newspapers advertisements or www.indynews.ca direction.

Since then, it has become a place to share some of my favourite photos taken while on assignment wherever journalism has taken me.
