ACUI Region 5's photostream

ACUI Region 5 is made up of five states: Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Colleges and Universities of varying sizes and scopes make up the membership of Region 5, including state schools, private institutions, HBCU's, religious institutions, extremely large institutions, tiny colleges, and more. Region 5's fall conference takes place in either late October or early November at a member institution within the region, and Region 5 always has high attendance at ACUI's Annual Conference each winter. Also each winter, Region 5 sponsors a Leisure and Recreation Tournament, which includes billiards, table tennis, bowling, Poetry Slam, Quiz Bowl/NAQT, and more; winners of various sports are sent to national tournaments to represent the region. The Regional Leadership Team, made up of volunteers from institutions across the region, works diligently to form policies and procedures, administer programs, and generally manage the ongoing business of the region.
