Everyone has a carbon footprint - it's your own personal measure of how much carbon dioxide you create and how much you contribute to climate change.

Use the ACT ON CO2 calculator to find out what your carbon footprint is. You'll also get a personalised action plan with recommendations about how you can help tackle climate change.

Originally launched in 2007, the ACT ON CO2 campaign has been developed as part of a wider cross government climate change brand.

The campaign returns in 2008 to support a range of climate friendly behaviours with TV, press and online campaigning activities running throughout the year. The aim of the campaign is to help people:

- Establish the link between CO2 and climate change.
- calculate their carbon footprint at www.direct.gov.uk/actonco2
- adopt pro-environmental behaviours to reduce their own carbon footprint.
