I picked up my first DSLR in March of 2009. It was a Nikon D60 that was on sale. At the time, I was simply looking for something to that would get me out of the house more. I didn't realize that I would fall in love and voraciously devour everything I could on the subject of photography. A year later, I say goodbye to my first love and upgrade to a D90. While the D90 has many things that outshine the D60, I will forever hold my D60 in my heart as the camera that taught me how to actually take photographs, not just snapshots. My equipment collection grows steadily, mostly due to bargain hunting, great used deals, and the awesome support of friends and family. My love of digital photography is also helping me take tentative steps into film photography, but I have so much more to learn about that before I will start posting photos.

I classify myself as an intermediate photographer and I am always looking for tips and constructive criticism. I also like sharing my knowledge, so if you have a question about something I've done just drop me a line.
