I'm an engineer, interested in imaging, AI and robotics. In my free time I tend to read and drink beer, and maybe travel around and take pictures.
The pictures in my stream used to mostly mine but at this point are partly mine and partly my wonderful fiancée's. Between us we have a 5D, a 40D, a *ist DS, an SD300, an SD780IS, an IR-modified G5, and various and sundry film cameras.
I've started using ExifPro to tag and rate pictures. My ratings tend to vary, but generally 2 stars means is reasonable (we were here and this is what it looked like), and 5 stars I'm definitely planning to frame. Flickr is my primary photo sharing site, so my stream contains the reasonable as well as the good. Pics that are cropped usually have crop or cr attached to the name, and ones where I've messed with the contrast or histogram generally have en or enh. (So cren is cropped and enhanced.)
I haven't been too particular about copyrights. I let things default to all right reserved but if you want to use something just let me know. I may also have higher quality versions available (raw or full-size JPG). Although it may not seem like it, I do in fact cull some shots, so if there's something you're interested in I may have more pics of it.
